Five days before the highly publicized theft of the Helmet from Coșofeni and the Dacian gold bracelets, Andrei B. entered the Drents Museum without a ticket, being suspected by the police of conducting a preliminary investigation. Although he is not detained and is not one of the three main suspects, his presence in the museum is notable. Andrei B. was recognized from surveillance footage and was interrogated by the police, claiming that he did not know he was in a museum. Authorities discovered that he has connections with a coordinator of thieves from Germany and has been involved in previous thefts. The three main suspects in the theft on January 25 are accused of using explosives to gain entry into the museum. The helmet and the stolen bracelets have an estimated value of nearly 6 million euros, and the police continue their search for their recovery.
