ANAF inspectors discovered six ride-sharing companies that caused a damage of 27.8 million lei to the state budget through tax evasion

ANAF has identified six companies in the field of alternative passenger transport that generated a loss of approximately 27.8 million lei, through the non-payment of taxes and social contributions. Three of these companies are from Bucharest, and two from Timisoara. The inspectors discovered irregularities such as not registering as a VAT payer and forced use of labor without legal documents. ANAF will notify the criminal prosecution bodies for the recovery of damages and has introduced form 397 for a more efficient verification of ride-sharing companies.
