The AMEPIP Agency has clarified the selection process for the members of Romsilva's Board of Directors, organized by the Ministry of Environment. The selection committee evaluated candidates for three of the five positions. Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of candidates and the transparency of the process. It was also decided to reduce the allowances and contracts were signed for four members, despite some controversy over their backgrounds. Buzoianu stressed the need to reform and depoliticize the institution.
