In Harghita County, approximately 1,500 consumers have been left without electricity, most likely due to severe weather conditions. The local emergency situation inspectorate has reported that 19 transformer stations are unpowered in the localities of Bădeni, Rareș, Sânpaul, Orășeni, Crăciunel, Satu Nou, Oclan, and Mărtiniș. Teams from the electricity distributor are already on the ground, working to fix the issues. The county is under the influence of a yellow code for freezing weather, and meteorologists warn that almost the entire country will experience minimum temperatures between minus 20 and minus 10 degrees, with cold weather expected to persist until Wednesday morning.
