The Romanian Customs Authority has completed the equipping of the Albița Customs Border Office with modern scanning systems, including a fixed X-ray scanner for trucks.

Recently, the Romanian Customs Authority put into operation a fixed X-ray scanning system for trucks and containers, completing the equipment with modern technologies at the Albița Customs Border Office. These systems were purchased through the PNRR and aim to modernize the customs infrastructure, ensuring a balance between security and smooth cross-border traffic. The mobile scanning system will be relocated to Constanța until the completion of the upgrading works.
