The manager of the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Iași, Dr. Florin Roșu, stated that the number of patients with respiratory viruses and flu has increased significantly, reaching almost 40 hospitalizations, which is more than in previous years.

Of the 38 hospitalized patients, 21 have the flu, while 17 suffer from respiratory viruses. Roșu emphasized the importance of rapid diagnosis, recommending that people see a doctor to receive appropriate treatment, which can shorten the recovery period. As preventive measures, he urged vaccination, adherence to hygiene, and avoiding crowded spaces, stating that "it is still not too late to get vaccinated."
