In February, Aktor started boring two pairs of tunnels on subsection 2 Apața - Cața of the Brașov - Sighișoara railway. Using four boring machines (TBMs), the company is drilling the Ormeniș (7 km) and Homorod (5.1 km each) tunnels. The tunnels will be interconnected by 13 connecting galleries for Ormeniș and 10 connecting galleries for Homorod, with a total length of 601 meters and 417 meters respectively.
