Tourism specialists estimate that the introduction of direct flights between Bucharest and Beijing could significantly increase the number of Chinese tourists in Romania and improve business travel between the two countries. Currently, most flights on this route require at least one stopover, and the total travel time exceeds 13-15 hours, which discourages travelers. Air China, the national airline of China, could launch these direct flights starting this summer, which would represent an important opportunity for the development of Romanian tourism and for strengthening bilateral economic relations. This initiative could transform Romania into a more accessible destination for Chinese tourists, thus contributing to the country's economic growth.
