Adrian Zuckerman has reacted vehemently to Elena Lasconi's comments about pressure to withdraw from the presidential race, saying he had no interaction with her. In a podcast, Lasconi presented a message from Nicușor Dan about meetings with Zuckerman and Ciucă, but the former ambassador said that this was the third version of his story and that he did not know her. Zuckerman emphasized Nicușor Dan's professionalism and commented positively on the Romanian ambassador to Washington, Andrei Muraru, suggesting that the current team is capable of advancing Romania's interests.
