Administrator from Târgu Mureș, sent to trial for embezzlement of over 4.3 million lei

An administrator of 15 homeowners' associations in Târgu Mureș has been sent to trial for embezzlement with particularly serious consequences, in a continuous form. The total damage caused to the associations exceeds 4.3 million lei.

According to the Information Office of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Mureș Tribunal, the acts took place between the years 2018 and 2025, during which the administrator unlawfully appropriated funds managed in the capacity of administrator. The case has been sent for trial to the Mureș Tribunal, and the administrator is under house arrest. This situation highlights the management issues of funds within homeowners' associations and the need for strict control measures.
