The Prosecutor's Office next to the Arad Tribunal announced that a man, S.I., the administrator of a company in the municipality of Arad, is suspected of failing to pay taxes and contributions to the state budget. Between August 25, 2023, and August 26, 2025, he withheld the taxes provided by Law no. 241/2005, totaling an amount of 18,708,900 lei, without paying them within the legal term of 60 days. This behavior has caused damage to the state of almost 19 million lei. The case has been sent to the Arad Tribunal for resolution, and the authorities continue investigations in this case.
