The Ministry of Development has launched a package of administrative reforms that includes a legislative amendment providing for the automatic suspension of driving for those who fail to pay their traffic fines within 90 working days. This measure will be applied without court intervention, based on tax records. The Ministries of Finance and Interior will adapt their IT systems to facilitate the necessary interconnection. The initiative is part of a wider effort to improve tax and fine collection at local level.
