The accident took place on the A1 highway, in the area of Cristian, when a 29-year-old man from Tulcea County entered the emergency lane and collided with a stopped truck. The 48-year-old passenger in the car died and two other people, a 21-year-old woman and a one-year-old baby, were injured. The woman suffered a traumatic brain injury and was taken to hospital, while the baby was taken to a pediatric facility.
