The A3 motorway, the Zimbor - Poarta Sălajului section, has reached a stage of 80% and could be completed in 2025, but funding issues create uncertainties. The former Minister of Transport, Lucian Bode, announced the start of works at the Românășci junction, which will facilitate traffic. However, the Pro Infrastructura Association warns that the lack of a budget supplement of 4-5 billion lei could severely affect infrastructure projects. The value of the contract for this section is 836.899 million lei, and the source of funding is the National Recovery and Resilience Program.
