A tragic incident occurred in Timișoara, where a young man set himself on fire in front of the Medical Oncology Clinic, where his wife is hospitalized. With a guilty conscience for having gambled away the money borrowed from a priest for her treatment, the man doused himself in gasoline and self-ignited. After being engulfed in flames, he managed to enter the clinic's courtyard, where he was rescued by the on-duty doctor with the help of a fire extinguisher. The young man suffered third-degree burns on 20% of his body and was transported to the Burn Clinic. He stated that after losing the money, his wife threatened him with divorce, which led him to resort to this extreme act.
