The incident took place in front of a club in Bistrița, where a 34-year-old driver, with a blood alcohol level of 1.20 mg/l and psychoactive substances, crashed into a group of five young people. After the accident, the driver fled but overturned in a ditch a few kilometers away. The victims suffered injuries and require medical care. The driver was arrested for attempted murder and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
