The tragic incident occurred on September 1, 2025, when the toddler was taken out to play along with other children in the playground set up near the nursery. After he was noticed missing, the staff alerted the authorities. Doctors performed resuscitation maneuvers but declared him dead. The police opened a criminal case for manslaughter and are investigating the responsibility of the nursery employees, who were using the restaurant's courtyard as a play area.
