The incident took place in a park in Uricani, Hunedoara county, where an 8-year-old child was bitten by a female Rottweiler Mastiff. Police opened a criminal file for failure to take measures to prevent canine attack, establishing that the animal belonged to a 55-year-old man from Petroșani, who had lost it a few days earlier. The child, a German national, was taken to hospital for medical care. Police are continuing to investigate the case.
