On Wednesday, a 72-year-old man got lost in the mountainous area of Buzău County after leaving a sheepfold and was unable to return due to unfavorable weather. A woman from the village of Viforâta found him barefoot, in the snow, and called 112 for help. Mountain gendarmes intervened quickly, identifying the man and providing support. He explained that, due to the weather conditions, he got lost and did not know how to get back. After receiving first aid, the man was transported by intervention teams for medical evaluation, and he was to receive the necessary care.
