At the age of 69, a man from Botoșani decided to take two of the exams for the baccalaureate in the autumn session, namely Romanian language and mathematics.
The general inspector of the Botoșani County School Inspectorate, Bogdan Suruciuc, stated that this is the oldest candidate who has participated in the exam. The man mentioned that he will prepare for the logic exam for next year, wanting to ensure that he is adequately prepared.
Suruciuc emphasized that the man's gesture represents an example for the younger generation, showing that obtaining a baccalaureate diploma is important regardless of age. This initiative by the man can also inspire other adults to continue their education.
