A 55-year-old man is being investigated by the police in Dolj for sexual assault after he attacked an 18-year-old in Constantin Brâncuși Square in Craiova. The incident occurred on April 26, when the young man was approached by the assailant, who touched him in the genital area without his consent.

On May 17, the police issued a warrant for the man's arrest, who was located in the commune of Celaru with the help of the officers from Section No. 12 Rural Police Daneți. He was detained for 24 hours and is to be presented to the Prosecutor's Office next to the Craiova Court for preventive measures. Authorities continue investigations in this case.
