A 40-year-old man from Bucharest is being investigated for the rape of a 14-year-old girl after repeatedly having sexual intercourse with her between 2024 and July 2025. The defendant gained the victim's trust by offering her gifts and money, taking advantage of her young age and her inability to give valid consent. Although the prosecutors proposed his remand in custody, the judge decided to place him under judicial control for 60 days. The investigation continues.
