A 27-year-old man is accused of disturbing public order after he fired an airsoft gun in Central Square in Suceava.

A 27-year-old individual was apprehended by the police after causing panic in the Central Square of Suceava, being accused of disturbing public order and peace. Witnesses reported that the man was extremely agitated, shouting and threatening people around him, including a woman whom he verbally assaulted without reason.

After an initial conflict, the suspect left but returned to the square with a knife and an airsoft pistol, with which he fired twice into the air. After the incident, he fled but was found by the police and taken in for questioning. Investigators conducted searches at his residence, where they discovered the knife and the recently purchased pistol.

Although the threatened woman did not file a complaint, the police opened a criminal case. The man, a repeat offender, had previously been sentenced to 4 years in prison for robbery and destruction and will be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive detention.
