An 18-year-old man has been detained in Constanta for the rape and murder of a 48-year-old woman, with the body being found in a public area in Navodari.

The police in Constanța detained an 18-year-old man, suspected of the rape and murder of a 48-year-old woman, whose body was discovered in a public area in Năvodari. The incident was reported via a 112 call at the end of last week. The autopsy confirmed that the death was violent, and signs of recent sexual assault were found on the victim's body. The investigation established that, on the night of November 14 to 15, the young man allegedly had sexual relations with the woman against her will and subsequently took her life. The young man was detained for 24 hours and taken to the IPJ Constanța detention center, and the case is still being investigated by the authorities.
