A 16-year-old teenager was found drowned in the Danube, about ten meters from the shore, in the Celei district of Corabia. The intervention teams, including divers from ISU Olt and ISU Dolj, were alerted of his disappearance. Despite efforts, the minor was declared dead on the spot. The area has strong currents and poor visibility, which complicates interventions in such situations. This is not the first tragedy of its kind, recalling previous incidents involving minors.
