Diego Borella, a 47-year-old assistant director, died while filming the fifth season of 'Emily in Paris' at the Hotel Danieli in Venice. Doctors on the scene were unable to resuscitate him and filming was suspended. Paramount Television Studios expressed its condolences to Borella's family, who died in front of colleagues while preparing a scene. The series, starring Lily Collins, debuted in 2020 and will have a new season airing this year.
