Starting this month, the 'Grigore Antipa' National Museum of Natural History offers a unique experience to visitors through the 'Antipa Acoustic' project. This transforms the permanent exhibition into a multisensory space, where the sounds of nature, such as the singing of birds and the roar of the sea, complement the dioramas. With the help of a high-performance audio system and an interactive web application, visitors can explore the planet's ecosystems in an engaging way. The project also includes an accessibility component for visually impaired individuals, providing audio guides for a complete experience.
Dr. Luis Ovidiu Popa, the museum director, emphasizes the importance of empathy and the desire to bring science closer to people. 'Antipa Acoustic' aims to reconstruct the emotional connection between people and nature, being co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration and developed by Collider Visuals.
