The masterpiece 'La Blouse Roumaine' by Henri Matisse has been brought to Romania for the first time and can be admired at the National Museum of Art, as part of an exhibition dedicated to the Romanian blouse.
The work was transported with special security measures, and at the museum, it was installed with the help of double reinforcement to ensure its stability. The museum director, Erwin Kessler, emphasized the strict protection measures, including 360-degree video surveillance. Visitors can observe the work from one meter away, but they cannot touch it. The exhibition includes over 300 pieces from various museums, including a monumental work by Mircea Cantor. Additionally, the museum has launched an educational kit to familiarize students with the history of the Romanian blouse.
