After the scandal caused by the serious accusations made against Camelia Voinea, the Romanian Gymnastics Federation decided to dissolve the national teams, a measure that will be valid at least until the end of the year. This decision was made following a seven-hour Executive Committee meeting. During this meeting, the issues that arose after Denisa Golgota's statement were also discussed, in which she complained about the behavior of the coaches, accusing them of harassment.
The president of the federation, Ioan Suciu, emphasized the complexity of the situation and mentioned that all reported issues will be sent to the Disciplinary Commission for a detailed analysis. Additionally, the president of COSR, Mihai Covaliu, firmly condemned the inappropriate behaviors in the coach-athlete relationship and stated that such attitudes will no longer be tolerated.
