
The Romanian national team will play two matches at the beginning of September, against Canada (friendly) and Cyprus (in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup). Coach Mircea Lucescu has announced the 26 players called up.
"Il Luce" maintains most of the names called up in previous actions of the "tricolors". He has, however, relied on two names making their debut: Ștefan Baiaram, the Craiova forward, and Andrei Borza, the left-back from Rapid.
