"Sprint With The Stars", a unique competition in the world, will debut in Romania in 2026, hosted by David Popovici, Olympic champion and double world champion. This event, initiated in the United Kingdom, will bring together swimmers of all ages, from 9 years old to seniors.

The program will include qualifying sessions and finals, where the top nine athletes from each category will compete alongside international stars. The competition will include four sprint events: 50 m freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke, for both men and women. Registrations are open until January 4, 2026, and the participation fee is 25 euros per event. The event adheres to all safety regulations and will also include para-swimming athletes, promoting equal opportunities.
