Portugal - Croatia 2-1

The Portugal national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Cup after defeating the Croatian team, with a score of 2-1, on Friday morning in Toronto. Croatia opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, through Perisic. Portugal equalized in the 68th minute, through Cristiano Ronaldo, from a penalty. Goncalo Ramos also scored for Portugal in the 90+4th minute. And in an absolutely explosive finish, Gvardiol scored in the 90+13th minute, but his goal was disallowed for offside after VAR analysis.

In the quarter-finals, Portugal will face the European champion Spain.
