Simona Halep, the former world number 1 and double Grand Slam champion, has announced that she will end her sports career in Cluj-Napoca, during the Sports Festival 2026. This decision marks an important moment in her career, considering that Halep has had a significant influence on Romanian and international tennis. The demonstration will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM, in BTarena in Cluj-Napoca, and spectators will be allowed entry starting at 4:00 PM.
