After avoiding arbitration, Ohtani signed a one-of-a-kind contract that made history. On Saturday, the deal with the Dodgers for a 10-year, $700 million contract was announced. That amount is the largest in baseball history, more than $250 million more than any other contract, easily surpassing Mike Trout's 2019 extension of $426.5 million.
