Moldovan canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi has become world champion for the third time, winning the gold medal in the 5000-meter event at the World Canoe Canoe and Kayak Championships in Milan with a time of 23:41.31. He managed to beat Spain's Jaime Duro and Poland's Wiktor Glazunow. Tarnovschi also won a bronze medal in the 500-meter event, demonstrating his exceptional skills in the sport.
