World Cup 2026 | Saudi Arabia and Uruguay finished in a draw / Iran comes back twice and earns a point against New Zealand

The Saudi Arabian national team managed to produce a surprise at the World Cup, after drawing with Uruguay, score 1-1, on Tuesday morning, in Miami, in Group H. Saudi Arabia opened the scoring in the 41st minute, through Al-Amri, while Uruguay equalized with a goal from Maxi Araujo in the 80th minute.

In the standings, all four teams have one point each: Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, Cape Verde, and Spain.

The Iranian national team debuted at the World Cup in the USA with a 2-2 draw against New Zealand, in a match counting for Group G. New Zealand opened the scoring through Just in the 7th minute, with the Iranians equalizing through Rezaeian in the 32nd minute.

Just put New Zealand ahead again in the 54th minute, while Iran equalized through Mohebi in the 64th minute. In the first match of Group G, Belgium and Egypt drew 1-1.
