The selector Rudi Garcia will no longer continue on the bench of Belgium.

The Belgian Football Federation officially announced that coach Rudi Garcia, whose contract expires on July 31, will not continue the collaboration. The 62-year-old French coach took over the national team in January 2025, managing to keep Belgium in League A of the Nations League with a victory in the playoff against Ukraine.

Garcia also led the team to the quarter-finals of the World Cup, where Belgium was eliminated by the future world champion, Spain, with a score of 1-2. In total, Rudi Garcia coached the national team in twenty matches, having only two defeats, at the beginning and end of his term. The coach emphasized in his statement that he leaves Belgium among the top eight teams in the world.
