On Friday, November 7, the selector Mircea Lucescu announced the squad called up for the two matches consisting of 13 players from abroad and another 13 footballers who play in the first league in Romania:

The Tricolors will face Bosnia and Herzegovina away and San Marino at home. The first match will take place on Saturday, November 15, starting at 21:45, at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica. Then, on Tuesday, November 18, also starting at 21:45, the national team will play at home, at the "Ilie Oană" Stadium in Ploiești, against the San Marino team.
