Jaqueline Cristian qualified for the second round in Osaka

Cristian passed in the first round against Italian player Elisabetta Cocciaretto, ranked 91st in the world, score 6-2, 7-6 (4).

In the second round, Cristian will play against the winner of the match between Katie Volinets (USA) and Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (Spain).

Also in the second round of the Japan Open, Sorana Cîrstea, ranked 51st in the world, has qualified and will play against British player Katie Boulter.
