Jaqueline Cristian has qualified directly for the semifinals of the tennis tournament in Osaka, following the withdrawal of her opponent today. In the semifinals, Jaqueline Cristian will face the Czech Tereza Valentova or the Serbian Olga Danilovic.


"Naomi Osaka has not recovered after suffering a left leg injury in the second round of this tournament, and she has withdrawn from the quarterfinals scheduled for today," the tournament organizers reported.
