The Romanian team won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics, and the Romanian athletes qualified for several finals.

The National Agency for Sport announced that the Romanian team won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics held in Ganja, Azerbaijan. Maria Toma excelled in the Individual Female – Juniors event, scoring 17.650 points. In the Junior Group category, the team consisting of Sara Buda, Ana Drăghici, Emma Rotaru, Andreea Stoica, and Maria Toma qualified for the final with a total of 17.250 points. Additionally, the Junior Aerobic Dance team, made up of Alina Căpitănașu, Sara Buda, Smaranda Geamănu, Emma Rotaru, Eva Ionescu, Andra Ionescu, Bianca Voicu, and Andreea Stoica, scored 16.800 points, also qualifying for the final.

In the U15 category, the trio formed by Amalia Iancu, Diana-Ioana David, and Sara-Andreea Avram finished with 16.750 points, while Radu-Ștefan Pereteanu qualified for the final of the Individual Male event with 17.250 points. The competition will continue on Tuesday with the individual and group finals.
