The Romanian national team plays against Bosnia-Herzegovina at 21:45 on the National Arena, in the first match of Group H of the 2026 World Cup preliminaries. Austria, Cyprus and San Marino are the other opponents of the "Tricolor". Romania have not reached a World Cup final tournament since 1998 in France, when they made it out of the group but lost to Croatia in the last 16.
