The Romanian Handball Federation has announced the official squad of the national team for the Men's European Handball Championship, which will start on January 15. Romania will play in Group B, with scheduled matches against Portugal (January 16), North Macedonia (January 20), and Denmark (January 18). Although the tricolors have completed their preparation matches, the results have not been favorable, losing all three friendly matches played, including encounters with Italy and Hungary. The summoned squad includes goalkeepers, wings, backs, centers, and pivots, and the technical staff is led by head coach George Buricea.
