After more than 18 years, the national teams of the two neighboring countries meet again in a match in Romania.

Coach Mircea Lucescu is preparing a completely unexpected lineup for the friendly match this evening at the National Arena. According to information, no less than four debutants will be included in the starting 11 of the "Tricolors". The four players who could make their first minutes in the national team jersey are: Lisav Eissat, Kevin Ciubotaru, Cătălin Cîrjan, and Ștefan Baiaram.

Lucescu confirmed that the match serves exclusively for testing, as the priority is to maintain the freshness of the starters for the decisive duel with Austria on Sunday.

The probable starting 11 of Romania against Moldova:

Târnoveanu - Manea, Racovițan, Eissat, Ciubotaru - Hagi, Screciu, Cîrjan - Dobre, Munteanu, Baiaram
