Robert Badea managed to qualify for the finals of the 200m mixed event at the World Junior Swimming Championships in Otopeni, finishing the race with a time of 2:00.32 min, placing fourth in the heats. The final will take place at 19:18. Other Romanian athletes, such as Matei State, Irina Preda and Rareș Roșu, failed to advance, recording times that did not allow them to qualify for the next stages.
