Before the match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers between Romania and Bosnia, coach Mircea Lucescu had a firm reaction to journalists' questions about his possible dismissal in case of failure. A Bosnian journalist asked if he feared such a situation, and Lucescu responded strongly: "I cannot be dismissed!" and requested that the question be conveyed in Romanian. The Romanian squad for the matches against Bosnia and San Marino includes players such as Ionuț Radu, Andrei Rațiu, and Ianis Hagi. In the Group H standings, Romania is in a tight competition, and the upcoming matches will be crucial for qualification. The group match schedule shows a series of important confrontations, including the match against Bosnia, which will take place on November 18.
