Mircea Lucescu confirmed that he is under medical supervision and hopes to recover quickly. At the end of last year, he had a bad condition that forced him to cancel a trip to Antalya, where he wanted to observe the teams in the SuperLiga. Although he initially recovered, he contracted a severe flu again, having a high fever of 39 degrees. The coach wishes to be in shape for the semifinal of the qualifying playoff for the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for March 26, away, where Romania will face Turkey. If the "Tricolors" win, they will play against the winner between Slovakia and Kosovo, also away, five days later.
