After losing in the first leg 21-27, the team coached by Joao Florencio managed to turn the tide of the confrontation on home ground. Maria Gomes Da Costa made an essential contribution, scoring three consecutive goals, while Fie Woller was accurate from 7 meters. The team's top scorers were Jessica Quintino and Fie Woller, each with 7 goals. Alongside Minaur, Romania will also be represented in the competition by the vice-champion Corona Brașov, accepted by default, and by Rapid, which won the double against Bensheim-Auerbach.
