Max Verstappen, the driver of the Red Bull team, finished second in the qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix and discussed the difficulties encountered on the wet track. He described the conditions as extremely slippery, comparing them to driving on ice. Verstappen mentioned that he had to switch from rain tires to intermediate ones as the track was improving, but he was unable to secure pole position. He also highlighted the challenges related to visibility and the need to maintain a safety gap between cars. Lando Norris from McLaren will start from pole position, ahead of Verstappen and Carlos Sainz from Williams. This is the 22nd round of the 24 in the Formula 1 season.
