The ball from "God's Hand" by Maradona was sold at auction for 2.8 million euros

The ball with which Diego Maradona scored with his hand during Argentina's legendary victory against England at the 1986 World Cup was sold at auction for nearly 2.8 million euros in the United States.

The famous ball with which Diego Maradona scored with his hand, in the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup, which pitted Argentina against England (2-1), now has a new owner. 

It is worth noting that Diego Maradona's shirt worn in the Argentina-England match had already been sold for 9.2 million dollars (almost 7.8 million euros) in 2022.
